		Zip-Strip Paint and Finish Removers Stripping is the exciting part of refinishing because you never really know exactly what you're going to discover. Several layers of unsightly old paint or finish can be concealing marvelous mahogany, wonderful walnut or terrific tiger maple. Some unfortunate people see refinishing only as drudgery. But this is usually because they are using the wrong remover for the job or the wrong stripping techniques. We offer six removers, so there's a right one for every job. Generally, a stronger remover works faster, penetrates deeper to remove more in a single application, and will strip more resistant coatings. But if your interest is to refinish the clear varnish on an antique, you may not require our most potent Zip-Strip®. All of our removers are for interior or exterior use on wood, metal, plaster, concrete, glass, masonry, and porcelain.




		Zip-Guard Environmental Wood Finish (611-613) Excellent armor for your wood's protection. It's hard yet flexible, providing a tough shock-resistant defense against impacts, scuffs and mars. It offers superior durability compared to lacquers, shellacs, varnishes, and polyurethanes. One coat is all you'll need for refurbishing and, by the way, a single coat makes an excellent sealer for your sandstone hearth or an aged concrete garage floor. On raw wood, use two coats, or three coats on floors. We offer two types of Zip-Guard Wood Finish. Zip-Guard Original Formula is oil-based and Zip-Guard Acrylic is water-borne. Both Zip-Guards are self-leveling so brush marks are not a problem. They are both available in slip-resistant satin, gloss and semi-gloss sheens. And both are non-toxic after dry.

It is recommended for high quality hardwoods having tighter wood grain patterns with fewer blemishes, flaws or knotted areas, especially new or raw wood. This stain is low odor and non-toxic when dry, making it excellent for all interior projects including furniture, floors, cabinets, and any other woodwork. It dries quickly in 2-4 hours and cleans up with soap and water. Stain tones may be intermixed to produce colors for matching or custom staining.




		Zip-Guard Heritage Wood Stain Zip-Guard Heritage Wood Stain in a professional quality, water based pigmented wood stain. You can obtain professional looking results on furniture, floors, cabinets, or woodwork, even if you've never stained before! Color-fast, non settling pigments produce excellent contrast of grain patterns while reducing the appearance of blemishes and imperfections in soft woods. This stain is very low odor and non-toxic when dry, making it excellent for all interior projects. It dries quickly (6 hours) and cleans up with soap and water. Available in eight non-fading tones: Early American, Walnut, Dark Walnut, Red Oak, Golden Oak, Mahogany, Classic Cherry, and Antique Cherry.

		702 Aircraft Paint Remover 702 Aircraft Remover is formulated using today's state of the art technology, meeting and exceeding Boeing Certification (D6-17487, Rev. P) Specifications. This unique formulation employs an evaporation cap to reduce evaporation after application, thereby keeping the active ingredients in direct contact with the paint film being stripped. After the active ingredients penetrate the paint, they electrostatically de-bond the paint from the metal substrate to allow complete removal.




		Star Bronze Paint Removers Star Bronze Company offers eight types of removers and one furniture refinisher. We currently have three removers that are Methylene Chloride free. Paint removal time depends on whether the finish is clear or pigmented, number of coats to be removed, inside or outside use, temperature, humidity, and age of finish being removed. The stronger removers work faster, penetrate deeper to remove more layers, and strip more resistant coatings.




		Zip-Guard Wood Finish Professional cabinet and furniture manufacturers recommend Zip-Guard Wood Finish. Zip-Guard Original Formula has a high resistance to household detergents and cleaners, water, alcohol, and even nail polish remover. It is recommended as a finish over lacquer and shellac. Use it on virtually any interior raw wood surface or over a previously finished object like Grandma's old hutch or Dad's rocking chair. It dries with an antiqued amber cast.
